Role: Lead Creature Modeller
During my time at Dneg I was tasked with the creation of this little hummingbird for the prehistoric sequence in ‘Here’, the latest masterpiece by Robert Zemeckis. I was responsible for the modelling, sculpting and uvmapping of the character and the feather setup of the wings.
This was a little milestone for me as Forrest Gump is also my favourite film and Zemeckis decided to work with the exact same protagonists for this movie.
Overall it was a great experience to work on this project and the vfx really adds a lot to an already incredible story.
